There are a few things in commong between Pinot Noir, one of the most known international grape, and the Nebbiolo the king of the grapes of the region Pimonte: they are very elegant, pale in color and extremely difficult to make.
From the North of Piemonte a nebbiolo 100% (Carlin) soft and round and its "bigger brother" Berton Fara (which is a blend of Nebbiolo and Vespolina). Then a Pinot noir 100% (Paloalto) from the are of Alessandria in the same region: pretty structured and strong. Finally we go in the Langhe area to discover Essentia a blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Merlot that will leave you impressed by it large bouquet and one of the king of the Nebbiolos Barbaresco from Castello di Verduno, a wine that can definitely age. The last wine is a Pinot Noir 100% from the region of Trento: soft and elegant.
