AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA RISERVA - 2013 0.75L - 1 bottle - Falezze
Collector’s edition.
The exclusive Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva 2013, a limited edition, numbered release of just 1,000 bottles, each uniquely adorned with a distinct design. This special edition is the fruition of a collaborative vision by Luca Anselmi and Sofia Kherkeladze, brought to life through the artistic mastery of Niko Kherkeladze.
Encased in five individually numbered boxes, which, when collectively assembled, precisely replicate Niko Kherkeladze’s artistic rendition of the Battle of Didgori in the year 1121, this project not only honors historical artistry but also celebrates the storied tradition of winemaking.
Our Amarone Riserva rekindles the essence of its origins, crafted from grapes meticulously selected from vines over 80 years old. The drying process of the Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes occurs in our dedicated drying room during the crisp autumn months, followed by vinification in the winter. A distinctive touch of Oseleta grapes enriches the reserve with a unique character. Unfolding notes of forest fruits and assertive tannins.
Matured for two years in barriques as mandated by law, the Amarone Riserva Falezze 2015 emerges with a robust structure and a profusion of aromatic complexities. It is distinguished by its deep ruby red color, embodying elegance and a harmonious blend of flavors, immediately recognizable for its complexity and elegance. Ideal for extended aging, with a notable alcohol content, this wine is supremely suited for pairing with game meats, mature cheeses, or savoring during reflective moments with dark chocolate.
This limited edition Amarone is not just a wine but a collector’s piece, embodying the inimitability of artistic creation where each bottle offers a unique narrative—a blend of history, art, and vintage excellence.
